How to Win (Media) Friends and Influence People

2/20/08 - Over 60 members attended the first program for NY IABC's Spring season. Four experienced pros discussed the importance of having a good relationship and trust with the reporters who cover your field. Panelists John Vita, Andrew Blym and Jason Farago and moderator Montieth Illingworth discussed the best and most difficult situations, as did audience members, who explained when a story had been turned around and felt they had been "burned" by a reporter.
