Call for Volunteers


The best way to get the most out of your membership is to get involved! Someone once referred to volunteering as power-networking. NY/IABC has a wide range of volunteer activities and time commitments, so no matter what your situation, you can get a lot out of becoming active in NYIABC.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee works to attract and retain communications professionals from the New York Metropolitan area. The committee also coordinates monthly programs designed to educate members about various communication issues and trends, as well as create networking opportunities. With a focus on the member experience, the committee aims to:

  • Increase and broaden NY/IABC's membership
  • Communicate the benefits of membership to prospective, new, existing, and lapsed members
  • Develop quality programs that meet member needs
  • Ensure NY/IABC provides valuable professional development opportunities
  • Increase the visibility and membership of NY/IABC
